Jr/Sr High School

Goal of the High School – In accordance with the school mission, we prepare young adults to have the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual stability to be productive citizens of our nation and communities, and committed Christians in the kingdom of God.

Our Curriculum

  • 174 days of intense academic curriculum emphasizing problem solving, critical thinking, and team-work.
  • Daily Bible training in a biblical Christian worldview.
  • Bi-Weekly chapels emphasizing the Lordship of Jesus in students’ lives.
  • Required community service ranging from 37 to 52 hours each year.

Foods Class

What’s different?

  • All students who desire to play sports will play
  • Outdoor Unity Retreat each year for fun, challenge and team building.
  • Occasional High School trip: museum, challenge course, etc.
  • Seniors last year each performed 69 hours of community service.
  • Clubs when available: guitar, chess, model rocketry.
  • Community professionals often teach part time: computers, music, auto repairs, and biology dissection

Our Curriculum

  • Reading comprehension and expressive verbal and written communication.
  • Critical thinking and generation of multiple options in problem solving
  • A small but adequately science lab with equipment for labs, dissection, and science fairs.
  • Computer training, including programming.
  • Attempts to teach at students’ level of aptitude, including differentiated instruction
  • Exploration of careers based on interest and a sense of calling.
  • Biblical integration in each course.
  • We teach the fine arts to foster creativity of humans who are made in God’s image.
