Early Ed (Preschool & Kindergarten)

Responding to the desires of area families, we offer three programs:  a 1/2 day Pre-school program for 3 & 4-yr. olds that serves as the perfect introduction for our proven and respected Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs.

Grade School (Grades 1st thru 6th)

Offering standard classes from 1st to 6th grade ranging from Math, Science, Reading, Music, Gym, and several other subjects.  Students have a homeroom style learning and we use Bob Jones University curriculum and Houghton Mifflin math.

High School (Grades 7th thru 12th)

Offering not only core subjects (Math, Grammar, etc) but a variety of elective choices from Computer Science/Programming to Foods class.  Students well prepared for life choices after high school (college prep).

Frequently asked questions

All Lower Junior classes are taught predominantly by their form teachers and teaching assistants within their own classrooms. The exceptions are Games, French, ICT, library and music, all of which are taught by specialist staff.
What is your student to teacher ratio?

Our Pre-K class is limited to twelve students with one teacher. Kindergarten through 6th grades have a limit of fifteen students per teacher, and 7th-12th grades are limited to twenty students per teacher.

Do we have to belong to a certain church to enroll?

No, GRCS is a non-denominational school and church attendance is not required (but is encouraged). Our student body currently represents approximately 30 area churches.

What grades do you offer?

We offer Pre-K (3-year-olds) through 12th grade.

What curriculum do you follow?

We use Bob Jones University curriculum in grades K-12th. We use A Beka and Bob Jones University Jolly Phonics in Preschool. We use Houghton Mifflin math for grades Kindergarten-8th, and we use primarily Saxon math for high school.
