Q:  What grades do you offer?

A:  We offer Pre-K (3-year-olds) through 12th grade.

Q:  How much is tuition?
A:  Please see our separate section on tuition costs.
Q:  What curriculum do you follow?

A:  We use Bob Jones University curriculum in grades 1-12th.  We use Abeka in Preschool and Kindergarten.  We use Houghton Mifflin math for grades Kindergarten-8th, and we use primarily Saxon math for high school.

 

Q:  What is your student to teacher ratio?

 

A:  Our Pre-K class is limited to twelve students with one teacher.  Kindergarten through 6th grades have a limit of fifteen students per teacher, and 7th-12th grades are limited to twenty students per teacher.

 

Q:  Do we have to belong to a certain church to enroll?

 

A:  No, GRCS is a non-denominational school and church attendance is not required.  Our student body currently represents approximately 30 area churches.

A:  We strongly encourage you to call the school office at 319-753-2255 and set up a time to stop by and visit/tour the school.  We would be happy to answer your questions.

 

Q:  Is your school accredited?

 

A:  We have recently joined ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and will be working toward accreditation.
